What do you think I should say when I'm calling back a guy who called my ad, and I end up getting his answering machine that suggests he has roommates? Should I just hang up, and keep calling until he answers? Should I be discreet about who I am? br>

Dear Tara,
Well, if he has a few roommates, the chances of him picking up the phone may be quite slim, so I definitely suggest you leave a message on his answering machine. Sound very positive and upbeat, like this:
"Hello, Dave, this is Tara, the attractive, fun, tennis-playing girl whose ad you called on Tuesday. Feel free to call me at work at 555-1212, from nine to five. Can't wait to talk to you!"
How could he resist not calling you back again, with a message like that? His roommates will be jealous!
